Julie Chi is presently an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley and has been with the firm for 14 years with a focus on Change Management, Business Development, Transformation strategy design and implementation for cost reduction for operational processes, and Governance for risk mitigation across the Institutional Securities platform. Before joining Morgan Stanley, Julie was a VP at Goldman Sachs, Long Term Capital Management and Natwest Securities where she also help build businesses to provide scalable client service model and deliver upon an advanced technology infrastructure to support the Institutional Derivative Trading Businesses. She served as a key member of many industry forums and initiatives to ensure the firm was in alignment with the market and its competitors.
Julie is an active participant in the social community. Presently, she is a Board Member of the Korean American Family Service Center, a leading non-profit organization that supports and empowers adults, youth, and children to lead safe and healthy lives based on dignity, compassion and mutual respect. They are committed to preventing and ending domestic violence, sexual assault, and relationship abuse, and creating a violence-free society. For the past 3 years, she was the Gala Co. Chairs where she and her team lead the fund raising events. Recently, she joined the Host Committee for 2017 Dumbo Dance Festival, supporting the international artist to appreciate dance. Finally, she is serves on the founding board of the MYSELFMYLIFE, LLC, the owner and developer of b.Me, a unique personal well-being data integration App that help people strive and maintain healthy life style and choices.
Julie is also a Partner at CMS Talent Management, an artist development company with a focus in urban music.
